Fiona’s Blog
“I’ve been very busy over the past few months and have now gained a UKCC Level 1 Teaching Aquatics Qualification which has lead to a coaching job which I am so looking forward to starting. I’ll also be competing in the Special Olympics 2017 in Sheffield from the 7th - 12th of August.”
“I’ve been in my flat for 5 months now and am really enjoying my independence and the responsibilities that come with having my own home. I’ve now got all the furniture that I need apart from a rug for the living room which will be getting delivered soon. I’m planning to change the curtains and get a new lamp shade for my bedroom. I’ve also got a new working table to do my artwork on, I am looking forward to getting back into my painting. I’ve put some of my painting on the walls as you can see from the photo. Some of my circle members brought me house warming gifts after I moved in, including a beautiful cushion from Gary (please see photo). A friend helped me build up a flat pack table for my printer. I’ve been practicing my cooking skills with the help of Turning Point who come on a Monday. I now do all my washing and ironing.”
